#132

We were
panning
for gold
pants rolled
toes cold
Curled
in stream-fed
rock-bed
bottoms
of ocean
Copper pans
in our hands
Sifting sand
and emotion
Throwing stones
to the wind
and cares
at glass houses,
Hidden riches
our river-drinks
and we,
its lighthouses
