The violinist is the beautiful musician.
The poising frame, careful carriage of a
Classic dancer, waltzing
With willow wood and bow
The musician that the audience
Concurrently watches
Music and eyes (afterall,
You only ever see pianists from the side and
Winds seem to always make that
Tell-tale
Exhale face)
Strings that span through the hands of the marionette and
Over
The bridge, scrolling up, up
To the puppeteer, the music that is playing
the player. Yes the violinist
Is the beautiful musician –
Chin, tilted
Musing, brooding
Eyes resting on the soul, the hole
Where the wood was wounded, where
The instrument is crooning
Yes
The violinist is the beautiful musician.
