Do you remember cheap pink wine
In tall plastic cups?
Throwing cards on carpet without caring much
For spades or clubs
But watching as the clock climbed up to times
Seen only by third-shift workers and college eyes
Got any 5ams? Go fish –
For stories
That lay at the bottom of the bottle while we
Counted innocence on our fingers
Lounging under lofts in pajama pants
And glamour makeup
Breathing oxymorons of beauty
