You carry white cardboard in defense
Of unsophistication
Pretending the green recycled divider behaves
As a shield between the skin you live in
And the story the world reads
It’s funny that you see your logo’d sipping
As a sign of feigned superiority
Like you’re drinking straight exclusivity
When there’s one on every corner
And your cup is full of sugar anyways
So take your double shot,
Half-caf
Grande-sized
Serving of self-confidence and
Lift your eyes
