I lay grudges in the folds of my clothing
Boxing them away with winter sweaters
Forgiving them until the wind changes
And I feel I may need them again
I seal up glass boxes of pebbles
Within the walls of this house of cards
Staving off temptation to throw them
Until I find my hand there again
